What are your thoughts on the spring scrimmage in G-Falls?
Only being one week into spring ball, I don't know how great of a show this will actually be. I know Kramer has been big on having the Sonny Holland classic as the final spring scrimmage in Bozeman, but Bozeman gets all the games in the fall, srimmages too.
I think it would be for recruiting/boosters to have the final spring game on the road.
Also why 2nd year in a row in G-falls? Bobcats need to keep PR up in Billings, Helena, Butte, etc.

Because there is a big to-do in Bozeman that day. More than just a final scrimmage to the spring. If you havent been, its well worth it.BleedsBlue&Gold wrote:Only being one week into spring ball, I don't know how great of a show this will actually be. I was surprised GF two years running, but last year was such a huge success...plus, I think they might be looking at making this an annual thing. Great Falls is so central as well, 3 hours from everyone - Kalispell, Billings, Missoula, Glasgow - what more could you want. AND, they really pack in a great crowd there! Fantastic support from the GF Boosters and the entire area in general. I kinda like the fact that this may turn into an annual event.BleedsBlue&Gold wrote:Also why 2nd year in a row in G-falls? I like the idea of having the event in Great Falls. One other advantage for holding the game in Great Falls is the airline service in order to get all the parents there...It's just a nice part of the state to showcase our kids and get together with many of the folks we went to school with. I plan on being in Ft. Benton either late Thursday or early Friday in order to meet with friends and family coming from all over the country. I really like the choice and kind of hope for a little wind like we'll have in Bozo in the fall

Great Falls also raised the most money, even out of the one a few years back held in Billings. They have a very strong booster support system there, and it makes sense to to back. LIke it was mentioned prior, it is also very central as far as travelling.
The one in Bozeman offers a little bit more. The golf, and of course the Cats N Claws following these activities Saturday night. I have been to them since they started and I highly suggest those who can afford to go, to do it. The players, coaches, and parents are there, as well as those die hard boosters. Its a great evening and it puts a nice finishing touch for the end of spring ball. The two auction items up for bid are Cooper's jersey, and 2 tickets (inc travel with the team I believe) to the Oklahoma State game September 3rd.
