Don't forget about NAU. They are loaded too, returning most of their roster (they only lose Kyle Feuerbach and Stephen Garnett). I think next year the BSC playoffs will be a crap shoot. Seriously, any BSC team could win it next year. MSU will have to be at the top of thier game in every conf. game next year.... Should be exiting.mslacat wrote:The thing is, though EWU,
Sac St., ISU, also return the majority of the top players back also. You also know that
Weber always manages to load up on talented JC's and Portland State is also not going to
drop off the planet either so the league title is not a given.

According to Durham- from earlier in the season-there will be a holiday tournament next year. North Dakota State is reportedly in the field and probably MSU's first night opponent. Not sure who else is coming.
South Dakota State is also reportedly coming to Bozeman next season.
Durham said they had Pepperdine and Murray State scheduled for the tournament this season, but they couldn't get the fourth team-nobody wanted to go against that field. With NDSU signed up-it's easier to attract the other teams because the Bison are not considered a mid-major power at this point in their transition-everybody wants a reasonable shot at getting a win in a tournament like MSU's.

In all the years I've read anything Mick has said, the last sentence is about as out-on-a-limb a statement I've ever seen. How stout is Morris?

The article in the paper shed some light on what the schedule looks like next year. But also left some questions. Who else is going to be at the Top of the World Classic and who (other then SDSU) is going to be at the holiday tournament? Looks like we also have Denver and Portland, don't know if they are home or away. With SMU, UWGB and Wyoming sounds good so far. I would like to see one western power team like Utah or even Arizona. Don't know if they want to play us though.
