Butte Pasties available in Columbia Falls today.

Better post this early. The Columbia Falls Methodist Church is selling Butte Pasties at their bazaar today. We definitely some of that good old fashioned Butte good luck, especially since the second pot line is scheduled to open the first part of January! What a great way to see the rebirth of the Cat program. Remember, this is the very last of the old Anaconda Copper Company holding still in operation in this state!

I thought you were in Butte, so you can go pretty much anyplace you want and get pasties  It's a pretty big deal here in Columbia Falls what with all the folks who moved from Butte and Anaconda here to work in the aluminum plant not that many years ago. Very good core of good folks in this town and then again, there's a lot of that dark pink even in our schools

It's only 90 miles and ya'll can get some pregame grub and be back up over Pipestone and the Cardwell Hill! At a 110 mph average, well, you do the math

mmmmmmmmmmmmm, pasties!!!!

I've never had a Butte pastie. But, my Mom used to make an incredible one that I believe the recipe came from grandmother who grew up in Butte.

that means i have to brave homestake pass for the 3rd time in 2 weeks...(i bet there is lots of snow on it and random crazy "swilly" like drivers on it that think you can take it in a truck at like 90...sad story about a new gmc truck that flipped on it during thanksgiving...of course i was working at the time  ) which is what i would much rather avoid.

i do still have family in butte that would love to send me a pasty or 10 million...
