MBB: Red Shirts
Just Guessing here, but with Piepoli and Desin not playing last night they might be prime canidates for a redshirt year, another might be Derochowski. I did not get to listen to the whole game, but it sounded like he only played a few minutes despite Morris being out most of the game. With Donavan Shultz already being medical redshirted I could see 1 to max. of 3 player being redshirted this year.

Re: MBB: Red Shirts
I listened coach Huse on the radio the other day and he said that this team has to be very careful with its red shirts. He was saying that there might be only one guy red shirted this year and it may be the big man who was hurt at the beginning of the practice season. Interview was on Sports Nuts.

I really think the speed of the D-1 game is bothering him right now. He has the skills to be a great big man but he looks a step behind the action right now.rtb wrote:I think Travis D. should redshirt if we can afford it. He just doesn't look ready for DI ball yet. However, if he doesn't redshirt he could be pretty solid by the end of this year.
