Bobcat Wait

Post by JahGriz » Tue Aug 31, 2004 10:17 am

It has got to be tough to be a cat fan an have to wait an extra week to see your team play. How are you kitty fans handling it? I'm having a tough time just getting thru to this Saturday.

Ways to get thru the long wait:
1. Live vicariously thru the Griz for one week. :o
2. Have a mock tailgate this weekend, and continue till the AS game.
3. Head Butt Kramer. You'll wake up just in time for the game.

Ok, these are lame, except for #3, I think this one will work the best.
What say you cat fans, what-cha-gunna-do to get thru till game time?

:) Head butt Kramer, yeah .. that would do some serious damage to my face! But yes, its very hard to wait, and I'm gonna do just that and root for the Griz in there game (as hard as that is for me to do with Bobby Hauck as coach :). But in the end it will help the Big Sky's RPI ranking at end of season (assuming Griz win) so more Big Sky teams can get into the playoffs (hopefully 3 again this year).

I reckon that I will spend my Saturday sittin' out on the stoop with my jug o' XXX, my corncob pipe, and my hound dog, whittlin' myself a little Grizzly voodoo doll... an Adams State Grizzly, that is.

Yep, that's gonna be one mighty fine Saturday.

That certainly conjures up a vivid picture BAC, and gave me a good chuckle. If anyone can top that I'd like to see it.

While I can't wait for gameday, I am getting through the next week remembering that by starting a week late it means we don't have a bye week this year which means no let down game following the bye week this year! If we can just get through homecoming, we'll be golden!!!

I'm gonna go out and find an obnoxious Grizzly fan and bet him $1,000.00 that we beat the Grizzlies this year, then collect after the Adams State game. We'll beat the other Griz too, but this way I get my money quicker. Actually, I'll flip between the Griz and the NDSU\UNC game, then the CO, CSU game at 6:00 to see what we're gonna be up against

Heh Heh. Not you. You seem smart enough to not fall for that one. I need to find the really obnoxious and dumb, or at least really drunk one.

Obnoxious? Dumb? Come on, man. Just call him by name instead of dancing around it!

That's mean BAC. You shouldn't call me names. :D

It's rush week, so there is a lot of crap for me to do. :) Oh, and that school thing. "Classes", or something along those lines.

And then the week that the griz have off, THE CATS will be playing, and then you will be pouting with nothing to do that weekend. I also feel sorry for you griz fans that have to attend those games.
