Memo to Minnesota Athletic Director:
You will draw more fans to out-of-conference games if they are real opponents. You tried to con people into believing that Tulsa, Troy State and Louisiana-Lafayette were worth the price of a ticket. It did not work.
Next year, Baylor backed out of a trip to Minnesota and you need a replacement. Some folks want to bring in Montana State. See above.

Is the MSU team and fans going to prove this joker wrong or what. Or is Min. still on the schedule for 2k5?

Msu has tried to schedule a game with U of Minnesota two of the last three years. The issue is that U of M only pays the big bucks ($450K) to D-I teams. DI-AA teams get $150K and Kramer does not like to play upper teir D-I programs. The WSU series was due to 9/11 and was a two year contract. He is unhappy with the CSU game but there were few last minute options out their. He is happier with the Wyomings of the world.
