You guys will have no problems with the griz. They are 10-2 but MSU is the first team with a winning record that they beat all year. They have a very good defensive front 7 but fairly average everything else.
The griz struggled to beat cal poly and south Dakota.
Oh, and they lost to the only 2 playoff teams they faced this year.

My early prediction is NDSU 27, griz 10.

Game is 5 months away since they couldnt meet NDSU in the playoffs.

Three touchdowns probably is about right.

Offensively, the fizz will be good (even very good) at the skill positions. O-line will drop off from last year, and the fizz were not that good up front last year. JJ will be running for his life this year, and I'd be suprised if he is still healthy by kickoff of this game. He is a great player, but he will take some big hits trying to make plays.

Defensively, the fizz will drop off signficantly. Although the fizz D-Line should be very good, their linebackers are young and small. Cat fans have been jealous of the fizz' ability to reload for 20 years. Those days are over, at least for now. Fizzland fails to recognize that Bobby H is no longer recruiting. They haven't gotten great talent across the board for a while now. You can't replace two NFL caliber LB's with young guys who have never played, and not see much of a drop off. Dreaming. Also, the fizz secondary is still suspect. Perhaps better than last year, but it is a low bar.

Ironically, I don't think the noise will make much of a difference. Fizz run a pro-style offense that is methodical. 5th year senior qb and good skill guys. They will make the right reads and audibles using hand signals. It just won't matter.

My prediction is that the 2013 fizz team will be better than the 2014 version. Credit the record of the 2013 team, because they were not that good.

The fizz hang around for a quarter or two, but NDSU will eventually grind them into the ground in a very physical game.

I don't feel its appropriate that the fans of a team too scared to play the Bison...comment on how the dominant more celebrated program in the state is going to be pounded by the Bison....frankly if I'm to chicken ****** to do something..I generally don't comment on how poorly the person actually doing said act is performing.....cat fans
