Starting with the Big Bang means 1986 is pretty damned late!

[Sigh] Then we'll have to use another 40 posts to debate the validity of the theory of the Big Bang. I hope you guys brought a sleeping bag to work today....

"Lately" is the killer from the 'Cats perspective. The way I reckon "lately", i.e., working the series backwards, 2002 is the ONLY year the 'Cats have been ahead, and only by 1. If counting from the beginning, the 'Cats were ahead in the series only in 1902, 1903, 1904, (no games in 1905-07) 1908 and 1909.

Interesting note in our little rivalry:

When the Bobcats win in Bozeman in 3 short months, the Brawl will stand at 25 all in the last 50 years.

And when the Bobcats lose in 3 short months it will still take them more nearly half a century of dominance to tie the overall series.....

You gonna be there to see it?

And Greece has still been the most powerful country in the world for more years throughout history than the U.S. I can almost hear the smack all the way from Athens.

Yes ... intentionally absurb comeback.

Bull$hit. The Greeks couldn't carry a Roman's joust jock. Dammit, now I need to go take a walk and calm -- see what you did?

Let us use the tenure of Coach Kramer as lately. Right now, the series in the Kramer era stands at 3-2 Griz. So, one would say the Griz have a slight edge.

Or, if one prefers, one could use the tenure of Coach Hauck. The series is tied at 1-1 in the Hauck era. One would consider both teams equal.

Or we could give up on this one altogether?

Chicken or the egg??? :?

I think that a good thumping by the CATS will look good when one looks back over the 2005 season

Ralph, would you mind elaborating on your previous entry?
Sat 11/23/2002 Montana State at Montana, Montana State 10-7
Sat 11/22/2003 Montana at Montana State, Montana State 27-20
Sat 11/20/2004 Montana St at Montana, Montana 38-22

That leaves MSU with the upper hand lately, 2-1. Is that the elaboration you wanted?
Ralph, seems kinda lame that over the the past 19 years some folks don't have recall of anything before 2002, and while were at it, I believe lately (these days) 2005 the GRIZ have the upper hand. Image

Like he meant to say so as not to offend grizzles everywhere, over the last three years, Montana State has had the upper hand. I know even you rat, nick, and gfg, can't refute that statement.

Oh, but ...Xkat I can! Your "Over the last three years", stmt is quite inaccurate. If you recall, da pooooor kitties lost last year! Even for a kitty fan it would be a stretch of the imagination to turn last years defeat into anything resembling the upper hand. However, I will give the kitties their dew, they did have the upper hand for a couple years in the recent past.

Is it already that time of the year when the griz talk about nothing but the streak? I had hoped the last two wins would have helped that, but griz fans are getting their panties in a twist if anyone gives the Cats credit, as usual.

They just see the tide is turning, so have to go back to the streak.

Nobody promised ya being a Cat fan would be easy! As far as twisting things (panties included), that happens to be a kitty trait. As for giving the Cats credit, I did!
