I mean, we have fans like Evil Empire, tampagriz, bobcat99, and GrizinWA who clearly have a problem with actual factual data and articles.

Is it because egriz is a pit, and they have helped pollute that place to the point it is unreadable.

I dont mind Tampa because I think he is just doing this to get under your skin but the others are just that dumb. I have never been a round a more myopic fan base in my life than the majority of Griz fans on eGriz or at games. They lie and convolute facts so they can feel good about being part of a winner since the majority of their own lives are the exact opposite.

Most of them seem like nice people that have rarely ever left the state and most probably got no schoolin past the 12th grade. So they come by their insanity honestly they just have nothing to compare the program they root for with. Most of them are Broncos fans for the same reason....utter, gut wrenching ignorance.

Oh well at least they are fun to pick on

Yeah, Alpha.....you hit the nail on the head. There is a lot of positives that I admire of the Montana FB team and of what they have accomplished over the last twenty years....considering previous to that they were mediocre to average. Sheesh....the fan base thinks they're a mountain version of Alabama!!! It is not a coincidence that with Boise's exit and Nevada's move that the Griz's star began to rise....if that had not happened a 7-4 record would have been the norm!!! Us Cat fans/alumni have had our share of misery.....and we usually deserved it.......and we KNOW it. We have been a good team most years.....some years we had GREAT teams.....and then when we didn't we had to suffer through some humiliation...something that most e-grizzers just could not accept. If the Griz ever lost two home games in a row I think the Clark's Fork River under the bridge would be awash with the bloated bodies of the fans.......the ones that hopped on board the last twenty years!!!! Alpha.....would you throw them a rope?

Funny you say that Alpha. I was sitting in front of some Griz fans at the Cat/Griz bball game and all I kept hearing is how many more players the Griz had from Montana on their team I wanted to turn around and show them on my phone that the Griz actually do have ONE player from Montana on their team. dUMb

I don't know if its actually someone lying, its just that people are not always aware of which roster they're looking at. UM has one Montanan on their travel roster, and two Montanans redshirting this year. Anyone sitting in the stands in Missoula on Saturday, however, would have seen three Montanans warming up for the Griz, and two Montanans warming up for the Cats. Regardless, this year both teams each have three players from Montana.

I've seen this same thing happen in football, where someone will compare the players on one team's 105 man roster to the other team's 90 man or travel roster, and then get inaccurate results.

So Alpha who do cheer for in the NFL and why?
