The Simpsons reference finally pieced it all together for me... is eRat-a-Cat-er the real life "Comic Book Guy?" Think about it... all of his lines are droll putdowns, he loves satirical pictures (close enough to the same thing as "comics")... and that's all I've got. Still, it works!
