Interesting topic. I find some threads impossible to post on over at egriz because they soon degenerate into name calling that seldom have anything to do with the initial thread.

I see that happen here on occasion. Usually happens when someone brings up the firing of Kramer.

I visit both often and post when I think I have something to contribute.

I get good information from both sites.

I seldom use the PM tool. Usually only to exhange personal information. I believe if you can't write it for everyone to read, don't write it. Threats to harm someone because they have a differnet opinion is just stupid.

There are times that I think the moderators are too quick to lock a thread. There are times that I think they are too slow to lock a thread.

I still kind of like Kramer. He was a great promoter and raised the excitement level of the Griz/Cat rivalry. He also always had nice things to say about the Griz.

I think grizatwork's comments are as close to being unbiased as a Griz/Cat fan can be. I read both forums regularly, make only a few posts a month on egriz and less on bn.com but then only if I feel I have a contribution to make.

If I was put on the spot of rating one site above the other I would probably begrudgingly give bn the nod but only because I think BAC does a first class job of managing, narrating and directing the discussions that occur in this forum.

At the risk of sounding too critical I think some of the moderators at egriz can be too quick to edit and on occasion prematurely delete entries as a result of their failure to thoroughly read and comprehend others posts.

I appreciate the necessity of moderation of these messageboards but when I detect censorship I tend to lose confidence in the reliability of the information. I feel BAC does a tremendous job with the balancing act of moderation while maintaining his credibility.

That said, I really like Chris and think he does a great job with egriz. I really couldn't imagine football without either BN or egriz. Both Chris and Brad deserve all of our thanks for providing this medium of entertainment to and for all of us.
