Panel OKs bobcat trapping season rules

A limited trapping season for bobcats in the southwestern Montana was allowed to go forward today by a legislative committee that
reviewed the new Montana State rules.
Members of the Administrative Rules Review Committee raised some questions about trapping bobcats, but the panel took no action to delay the rules. They deceided any bobcat football player would be fair game.
Trappers will be allowed to harvest one bobcat each.
The overall quota for the bobcat harvest is 150. The trapping season will be from Sept 1 through Nov. 3, or until the quota is reached.

in Iowa was allowed to go forward today by a legislative committee that
reviewed the new Iowa Department of Natural Resources rules.
Members of the Administrative Rules Review Committee raised some questions about trapping bobcats, but the panel took no action to delay the rules.
Trappers will be allowed to harvest one bobcat each from the following counties: Adams, Appanoose, Clarke, Davis, Decatur, Des Moines, Fremont, Henry, Jefferson,
Lee, Lucas, Mills, Monroe, Montgomery, Page, Ringgold, Taylor, Union, Van
Buren, Wapello and Wayne.
The overall quota for the bobcat harvest is 150. The trapping season will be from Nov. 3 through Jan. 31, or until the quota is reached.
