frankly i'm glad to be a Cat fan when the griz have fans like this. NICE!

Once again a cat fan tries to make it sound like not making the playoffs is better than making them.

Keep in mind, there's only one team that makes the playoffs wins out.
Yeah BG... Like how griz fans try to dis the Cats 3 National Championships and then attempt to make the 2 the fiz have earned be equivalent.

1. Getting into the playoffs and getting beat or 2. never getting into the playoffs at all. Ask any rational fan and they will pick #1.

So no it doesn't depend on who you ask.

What is the inverse ratio of PSU points vrs. Cat tickets for sale to Griz fans next week in Bozeman?

Or is that Direct ratio? As the PSU points go up and the margin of victory increases more tickets for Griz fans to buy. ( much like the 1990s)

The Inverse ratio would be as PSU points go up and the Margin of victory increases the price of those tickets will be going down. (Much like the 1990s)

I'm sure someone will explain and correct. Thanks in advance.

Jag, I might explain this using economic terms as opposed to ratios. Something like this:

Typically, tickets for this game would be very price inelastic. That is, demand would stay high up to a rather high price-point. However, as the number of PSU touchdowns rise, there is a marked downward shift in the Bobcat Demand Curve for Tickets (we'll call it the BDCT). Supply on the primary market, as we know, is a constant and is at it's highest possible level (the ticket office has no additional tickets to sell). This would normally create a very high price-point (the point at which the BDCT intersects the Primary Supply Curve -- we'll call it the PSC). However, the marked drop in the BDCT creates a brand new -- and much lower --price in the secondary market.

What's interesting to note is that while there are two demand curves in the primary market, there is only one in the secondary market (by definition, there simply is no bobcat demand in the secondary market). Consequently the difference between the GDCT (Griz Demand Curve for Tickets in the primary market), and the new lower BDCT, is the Availability of Tickets for Crazed Griz Fans to Purchase in the Seondary market (ATCGFP2). That area, when graphed, could be shaded maroon, and that area on the graph would represent the number of maroon-clad fans who will take over bobcat stadium in a week and a half.

(and yes, I know that while this crap is based -- loosely -- on accurate economics, it is absolute complete bunk, so you don't need to smack me about that. It's purely for entertainment purposes only).

Thought:

If Ash goes 1 and 2 (or better) against the Griz he'll get a 4th year to turn it around. 0-3 gets him the door after year 3.

By choking I think you mean another year of Cat fans choking the chicken as they face another year sitting home with nothing to do and the Griz rolling through the playoffs.
Well sh!t. I don't have a chicken. Now what will I do?
Dang - I started laughing and almost choked at this post.

Thanks for beating BSU Friday night. Sounded like a good BB game.

To answer my question of who's faster Griz or Cat football team.

Griz win the spead contest.
