Why even have the playoffs I think Huntley is going to take it walking away, just saying. It would be nice to see someone else win it but I dont think that will happen. Does 2B get three teams this year?

Eureka is 7B now? They must have changed when they went back to B?

Is Huntley mostly the same team as last year? My dads comments after they trounced Eureka last year would lead me to agree with Wasacat.

You dis-ing Shelby in 1B or picking Cut Bank because they've been the perennial favorite in 1B?

Yes, Wolf Point is probably in after rolling PWood last Friday. Malta and Glasgow this Friday likely for the 2B title, #1 seed, and host throughout the playoffs.

Huntley lost most of the skill kids but returned the entire offensive and defensive lines, including Bobcat signee Taylor Dees.

Not sure what to think. Glasgow smoked Shelby in week two, then Shelby almost beat Fairfield. Cut Bank got smoked by Townsend that same weekend, but turned around and hammered Conrad. Can't figure that conference out yet.

An early poll I saw had Shelby in the top 10 (lower half). I assume that they dropped out after the Fairfield game. Have they made it back in after the last 2 wins? Don't get the polls out here in Seattle.

I think they're lingering with votes. It's starting to look like Shelby may be the second best in the 1B and is looking at a return meeting with Glasgow in the first round of the playoffs.

Great win by the Scotties over the Mustangs on Friday! Wasn't pretty but you got the W in a hard fought game on the road.

And Huntley / Columbus on the 16th. Those two games should tell us If it's truly Huntley and everone else playing for 2nd in Class B.

1B - Fairfield and Shelby
2B - Glasgow, Malta and Wolf Point
3B - Baker and Forsyth
4B - Huntley and Columbus
5B - Townsend and ? Three Forks
6B - Loyola and ? Florence
7B - Eureka and ? Plains

Shelby and Fairfield both have to play Cut Bank and Choteau, but I think should be the top 2.

I agree with message above that Huntley's last two games against Columbus and Townsend (both still undefeated) will determine if they just run away with the playoffs or not. I think those three teams are the cream of the crop this year.

Plains must have the inside track at the #1 seed in 7B. Didn't they beat Eureka last week? I also think Colstip might sneak in their instead of Forsyth. After playing both Shelby and Choteau, I think they're pretty even. The White kid at QB might be the difference.

We're also missing a team. Which conference gets 3 in this year besides the 2B?

I watched Huntley play Malta this year, and Huntley is for real their defensive line and linebackers are bigger than any other class B teams. Dees is very talented and big, but they have a linebacker that is a monster. I don't know his name but in the Malta game he dominated, he has speed and size. As much as it pains me to say, Huntley wins the title easily this year.

Sure looks that way on paper anyway. But until last year Huntley never lived up to expectations. Lots of football left
