Friday Night Lights

Post by CPACAT » Thu Aug 27, 2009 11:51 am

High School football kicks off tomorrow night for the AA schools. Always look forward to the first kickoff.

I will be watching CMR vs Helena tomorrow. Sophomores and Varsity play tomorrow.

I watch the CMR scrimmage last Friday and they are going to score some points this year. I would not be surpised if they are playing in the last game of the year. Does anyone have information on any of the other high school teams? Any level.

The BDC's fall sports tab comes out tomorrow. I think Tanner Roderick will do decently behind center for Bozeman, but it depends on the line and Leep's transformation into a full-time, every-down back (tailback and linebacker). It always depends on the line, and the defense is going to be green as the grass on the field.

I don't have any guesses on who's who this year in AA. But, I will say that it was quite surprising to see all three Billings AA schools drop their season openers. Billings West's seven turnovers probably don't indicate the quality this team may have. But, still a surprise to read Saturday morning.

I think the Hawks have the right guy at quarterback. Tanner is going to be tough to stop because he's a double threat. If Friday's game is any indication for the season, they need to eliminate giving up the big play on "D". If so, they may contend for post season play.

Should be another good one. Heart says Helena High. [-o< Both teams have a lot of talent this year, I'm sure this won't be the last time they'll meet this season.

I'm with you. Go Bengals.

But, what can you say about Capital....they are unbelievably good.

But, it's Crosstown - so anything can happen.

It's kinda hard to hate Capital when they keep sending the likes of the Dalys, Bignells, and other key players from their state championship teams our way.
