I think it is a pretty cool idea, and am contemplating if I have enough money to do it. The date is getting pretty close, so if you are interested, contact Retro pretty soon here.

I get the mag every year, but I'm not sure if I will do the ads on it this year. Nevertheless, I will be buying the mag once again.

Maybe two or three donors could chip in the $50 to put a BobcatNation ad in the magazine!

Hmmm. Doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I'd pitch in for a BN add. Just use the logo in the top left corner, put GO CATS or something, and maybe a MSU logo. I could throw an add together by Sunday night.

I'm in, and agree with something simple, but I'd like an MSU logo on top, Go Cats! in the middle and the BN logo of some sort underneath.
I have the order form, but it came as a PDF attachment and I'm not smart enough to put it on here, but if enough of us are interested we could do something besides the business card. The rates are:
Full inside front & back cover (full color)- $400 (apparently still available)
Full page B&W- $200
1/2 page B&W- $125
1/4 page B&W- $75
Business Card- $50
Deadline isn't until the 1st of July, so let's see who's interested. (sticky?)

The only issue with everything is use of MSU's logo probably isn't legal and if MSU's logo is used BobcatNation's logo shouldn't be used and vice versa. We aren't officially associated with them so we have to be very restrictive on making that connection.
We could definately use the BobcatNation logo and a message that says Go Cats. I will toss some ideas together for everyone to see, but I just wanted to get that warning out there.

Good point if it's a problem, but it could be something as simple as using the MSU helmet that seems to be unrestricted.
Or.........someone...... with computer skills........... and a knack for creating such things............... could............maybe............ put together
something.

Great start, but I think the Go Cats part needs some work- tough to do in B&W.

All we need now is for someone to collect the $50 and I will email them the ad so that they can submit it to the magazine.

Are we doing this through Paypal or some other form of transaction?

Check, money order or credit card payable to Retro-Sports.
Ads must be submitted in Photoshop jpeg format, 300 DPI, in grayscale mode only.
Since rtb designed the ad and will make the submittal, why don't we just send the money to rtb? We just need to know how many are in so we know how much to send. If there are enough of us we can go to a 1/4 page for another 25 bucks.

Quick Note: I am in the process of moving to Bozeman so I would prefer not to take the lead on this little deal. I know it might not take much, but I would prefer to just email the ad to someone and let them collect the money and submit the form. Normally I am all for this, but pretty much all of my time away from work is spent on getting ready to move.
