Montana goes on a run middle of 1st half and have been killer on the boards. It is 36-25 GRIZ at halftime -- the real question is...can they keep the lead...

Nice job....I only wish we had a team here who knew how to show up once the calendar turns to February. Good luck in the NCAA's!

Impressive job by Larry K to get his first two teams as a head coach to the dance. Enjoy him while he is at UM because it won't be long! Good win by the Griz!!

Well, we hope he won't be there long. I know he has a nest egg saved up from his NBA days. Maybe a six figure income and his place on the lake make staying in Missoula attractive to him.

If that is the case...well, it's best not to think about it.

Congrats to the Griz. Very impressive tonite. Hasquet, Matthews and Dlouhy look like the real deal. They will give someone trouble in the 1st round.

Two tournament appearances. That's a lifetime for me.

This is hard for me to say as a Bobcat fan, but I'll say it anyway.

Congratulations to the Montana Grizzlies for winning the Big Sky conference and advancing to the NCAA tournament. Larry Krystowiak is a great coach and the Grizzlies are a great group of individuals. I hope the Grizzlies represent the conference well in the Big Dance.

I'm very impressed with the responses of the Cat posters on this thread. Thank you for the kudos. Hopefully we Griz fans will be as gracious when it's the Cat's turn.

I'll give the 'Cats respect for their part in the championships as well. The 'Cats are halfway responsible for making the Montana trip the toughest in the Big Sky conference.

As a point of order, does anyone know the combined home records of the different pairs (Montana / MSU, EWU / PSU, Sac / NAU, Weber / ISU) over the past few seasons? I'd think the Montana schools would have great home records over the past few seasons.
