And yrs of eligibility left. Tried to figure out the losses after this season. All I know is they will have several losses, several.

Several is an understatement. I read they had 39 seniors on the team.

Ok 39 is huge! But how many have exhausted eligibility? With the era 6 and 7 year players even when Covid year should be flushed out.
I still say the exit portal hits gris bad this year. So 39 is a starting point, but well below the final tally.

Wow, I wanted to say high 30s but wasn’t sure. Really going to be tough to get that lightning in that bottle again.
Thank you all for the info.

They lose a lot regardless of how many of their seniors are out of eligibility but Missoula should be a destination for FCS starters that aren't good enough to go to the FBS. A lot of guys watched their first two playoff games and bought into the hype and will assume Bobbi can do it again next year. He'll have to prove it wasn't a fluke but I expect him to have plenty of guys to work with.

Which has been a bulk of the conversation around using the portal. It's a roll of the dice every year when it's that large of movement. MSU has a bit more sense of stability with it's younger team and winning on the high school recruiting.

It was more than just transfers that helped UM get good this year. Scheduling and timing were good also. They didn't have to play UC Davis or NAU and didn't play an FBS team. The wins over ISU, EWU and UND could've gone either way. Even the Cal Poly game was close. They could've easily been 10-2 or 9-3 this season and playing on the road in the quarterfinals. If they can continue to find gems in the portal, they might be as good next season.

I'm interested to see if Gillman stays again. He's a great back. I'm sure he's getting interest from FBS teams, gotta be tempting to cash in.

His brother is on team which may entice him to stay.

I’d say the over/under for Griz portal transfer pick ups would be in the 20 range again this year. Didn’t they pick up 22 last year?

22/44 of Montana's 2-Deep on offense and defense are seniors or grads. Wilkinson is the first guy to jump into the portal for them. So they're officially over 50% of their 2-Deep being gone. This includes 16/22 starters.

Wilkinson is the second. The db Mansour already said he was leaving.

I was referring just to their 2-Deep players.

Someone on Egriz posting that Otlewski is in the portal.
If true, that's now 24/44 of their 2-Deep and 17/22 starters.

It’s true…at least if the TikTok his fiancé posted announcing it while they head to Texas is legit.

They should do a cute little choreographed TikTok portal dance.
