Have been wondering the same thing. Holding only gets called if the defender is pulled to the ground. Maybe.face mask calls require a full Linda Blair.

It's a good win, I don't think I'd call it impressive. Davis is a good team, but not great, because they lack depth. I was high on them to begin the year because they have a pretty soft schedule. I firmly believe if Larison doesn't get hurt in the game against EWU, Davis is 5-1, 3-0 and top 8 right now. Their lack of depth has derailed their season.

He really is the worst. It drives me crazy when he refers to the play clock as a shot clock...wrong sport Buckwheat. Then when he explained what YAC meant...what incredible insight into the intricacies of football. Wasn't he a head coach in the NFL for a couple years? What NFL GM would actually consider hiring that moron as a head coach!?!?

That’s been the mantra over there for ever. As much as I hate them, I’d like them to maybe have a playoff chance when the Cats roll into town. Not so we can stress out but so that we can once again steal their souls.

The griz are 5-1 with 4 division one wins. They look to be improving with McDowell. They struggle running the ball and protecting the qb. Their blitz heavy defense is not the same level as last year. They’ll need three more wins to get to that 7 division one win total. Even then I’m not sure it’ll be enough. But we saw what happened last year. Remaining games are at Idaho, Norther Colorado, Sac State, at Portland State, MSU.

This is where I’m at. UCD had a couple flashes but overall looked terrible. As CPA states, the tackling was really bad. If the Griz can beat Idaho, or even keep it close, then I’ll start to believe they might be contenders. Don’t see it happening though.

UCD receivers must be taught to go down as soon as they catch the ball. If they would have at least tried to gain yards after the catch they would have won. Never seen receivers do so poorly after a catch. I swear the defense said Boo and the receiver would go to the ground. That said I think the gris are looking better. Be interesting if they show up ready to play in Moscow we will have no room for error the rest of the season.

Arguably as a Cat fan, it’s best if UM keeps on winning so they keep Hauck.
