No way the Griz should be in the playoffs

There is absolutely no way that the Griz should be in the playoffs this year. When I thought about the facts instead of the crafted narrative from Missoula, I realized there is no way they objectively could get in.

1) They didn’t beat one team with a winning record.
2) They are only 0.500 in conference with a 4-4 record.
3) In their last 6 games, they are 2-4.
4) They got absolutely stomped in their last game of the year.

Am I missing any logical reason as to why they should be there?

Yeah. Missoula sucks.

The reason you're missing is that you're looking at them only, when multiple other bubble teams also lost today. I think Davis winning against Sac knocks them out, but if Sac wins I give them at least a 50/50 shot to get in.

Unfortunately this is true. I think they are in if UCD loses and watching the game that seems likely.

Sorry but must disagree. If UCD were to drop their game by a close margin UCD is in. The gris lost by 34 and were absolutely dominated.

UCD would only have 6 wins. We really want UCD to win. It gets the gris out of the playoffs and gives the cats undisputed BSC title and likely 2 seed. So home field all the way.

they would be 6-5 I thought you needed at least 7 division 1 wins unless you were an automatic bid like some teams who are 6-5 but won their conference

A 6-5 Davis team is unequivocally not getting in over 7-4 UM.

Don’t look now but Weber is down vs NAU. Not that they are out but it kinda shows that getting out of Flag with a win isn’t easy.

Davis got into hurry up and are down a TD. Looked better at the end there.

Identical to us. Weber kicked a FG with 5 seconds left, after NAU tied it up at the 2 minute mark.

Who cares about the gris? After today, I'd love to see another Cat-gris game in the playoffs.

Their whole premise was that they didn't have Lucas so those loses don't count. Well, you had him today and got curb stomped.

I don't know how they get in to be honest. They haven't beaten anyone good, and they lost to every good team they have played. There have to be a couple bubble teams with at least one decent win.

Yea but he was sick today and the refs didn't call holding on the cats all game or they would have won.

I'm not sure why they would even think they should get in. They will just make another ass of their program for the world to see. They are just a poor coached and under talented program and will continue that average team till they get a winning coach and new culture.

They keep arguing that they “lost to four highly-ranked teams.” I will remind them Idaho was unranked when the gris lost to them. But, so they lost to four ranked teams — guess what’s in the playoff, guys and girls? Ranked teams! They’ve already proved they can lose to any of them. Next team up, please!!! 🚫🐻

They looked better with the back up. He might ignite them a bit. It wouldn’t be as easy the second time but I still think we would beat them again

If there is a rematch do we get to put two games on the trophy after we win again?
