So Brian McLaughlin just couldn't bear the idea that the gris are no where near top 10 teams so he catapults Idaho all the way up to #6 and drops the Gris to #7. He might not be so confused if he realized that both Idaho and the gris are just barely top 20 teams. He has only gut feelings to justify either of them that high.

As for my thinking, SDSU at #1 is fine with me. #2 through #5 can be in any order right now. Not sure dropping NDSU all the way to #5 is consistent but Weebs, Sac, and Bobcats are a toss up and since Bobcats have a loss they get #4. At this time the top 5 is fine.
That ranking should result in him losing his vote. He dropped two other top 10 teams (SEMO and W&M) two spots while they were on a bye while Missoula lost to the team he had previously ranked 21 and they only fall 3 spots (while also bumping the team they lost to all the way up to the spot ahead of them).

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I'm cool with 5 of the top 7 FCS teams being from the Big Sky.

Unranked to #6. What an absolute schmuck.

He had Idaho at #21 the previous week
He probably ranked Idaho at 21 because it makes a gris win look better or in this case a gris loss look not so bad. And honestly I feel no obligation to be fair to him when he’s not fair to the Cats!

I can't get the audio to work on the Griz post presser. Anybody else having the issue?

Yeah I had problems too using my phone with ear buds (at work). Just garbled noise. Went home and just listened on phone and worked fine. Try changing what your listening on. It's worth it to hear that presser. Honestly one of the saddest things I've seen out of the gris. B hack sounds miserable, broken, and defeated but mostly...full of excuses

I love you guys over here  what excuses specifically? He said they didn’t execute and didn’t coach well enough.

Hmm, well I guess I stand corrected. B hack only was saying his players couldn't execute and neither could he. So I guess I'll concede that his presser was good. It was accurate. I will concede that I do think he is a very good representative of the school of Montana. And I'll add that I believe that his look, in that presser, is great because it reflects the fans he represents. Overall, after a second look, I say great interview b hack. Great. And I think most Montanans would agree

You can save the sarcasm  It was a cringy interview and I do wish he would have handled it with grace. I was simply calling out the fact that you said he was full of excuses… which he was not.

So what, exactly, was he full of? 😀

Idaho would have whooped us last year, but Troy and Mellott had a big game.

Idaho is set up to succeed with facilities cost of attendance etc.

Makes the Big Sky a lot tougher conference and better overall.

Doesn’t surprise me at all.
They will also get some recruits away from EWU. If you're from Washington and not quite what the Huskies or Cougars are looking for Idaho's a very nearby option. They lost that pipeline a bit when they went FBS and tried to recruit nationally-all those kids went to EWU.
I have been saying this all year, the resurgence of Idaho will hurt EWU the most. EWU is in trouble financially and may not be a top BSC team again.
I would rather play or watch a game in the oversized Quonset Hut than play or watch anything on the tampon turf. Fitting that it and the one at ISU resembles an oversized potato storage building.
