Sample Basketball Attendance

I couldn't find current attendance for the Bobcats, but by what I have been reading here it is down.
I was surprised when I found through January 6 Washington State was averaging 2,931, #15 USC-2,586 and Stanford 2,474.
Seems the Cats would be as good as that.
Covid? :-k

Definitely a trend here except for Weber State, first in men's attendance and dead last in women's!

Yeah that's a really odd stat... I know MBB has always had a solid following at Weber, but it's crazy they get less than 5% of the men's attendance numbers for the Weber women's basketball games. Real head scratcher. What about Weber women's volleyball?

I'm surprised to see that UM is averaging only about 300 more per game than MSU. I would have expected the gap to be a lot larger than that. I'm not as surprised by our 2,541 per game, as I am by their 2,844 per game. I would have guessed that they'd be more in the 3,500 to 4,000 range. MBB used to be a really big draw in Missoula. It's also hard to believe that two programs average only about 500 per game. Most class C schools in Montana probably average more fans than that for their games.

Idaho is going to have a tough time filling their new 5000 seat arena. Lots of empty seats for their new sponsor.

"University of Idaho needs your support to construct a 4,000-plus capacity arena to be the new home for Vandal men’s and women’s basketball teams as well as a gathering place for academic events, concerts and other special events. Fundraising is going strong with the full support of U of I president Scott Green"
