I was going to suggest they play one of the worst D2 schools in history to improve their record, but alas, check it out.

That’s actually nearer to possibility than one might realize. The North American record for 24-hour temperature change was set in Browning — 100 degrees. -44 and +56. Gotta love it.

Sorry that record was broken.
The largest recorded temperature change in one place over a 24-hour period occurred on January 15, 1972 in Loma, Montana, when the temperature rose from −54 to 49 °F (−47.8 to 9.4 °C) . But at least twice Montana held the record.
