I can just imagine how excited my Wyoming friends are about the Pokes appearance today in the Tater bowl.
(I have to imagine the excitement because they seem to be hiding it well)

This made me laugh. But, for Wyoming, this is the mark of a great season. Whenever they went 8-4 and played in the MWC game, that was a phenomenal season for them. Basically a joke of a program. But, Im happy for them. Laramie would be impossible to win in.

Kent State leads 14-7 at the end of the first quarter.
I am not watching the game but I am hearing that Levi Williams is doing a pretty good Tommy Mellot imitation. Pokes lead 28-24 in the 3rd.

This could be the ugliest college football game I've ever seen. Wyoming in brown and yellow against Kent State in all yellow being played on the awful blue turf.

Coach Bohl must have learned from his student on Saturday on how to utilize a running QB
The WYO QB had 200 yards rushing with 4 rushing TD’s, apparently that’s a bowl game record

What a BS bowl game. I'll take playoff games and a crap venue for a championship game in FCS, over 70% of the bowl games in FBS.
No ticket issues for Wyoming and Kent State fans going to Boise. Lucky buggers!
Just over 10000 fans. Thought there were less than that. Looks much more bleak than that.
If there are actually over 10,000 fans in that stadium, then MSU had 50,000 for the semifinal game last weekend. It appears that they totally closed off the side of the stands the photo was taken from and put all the fans on the one side to look better on TV.
Edit: Just saw another pic, there were a few hundred fans in the lower level behind the Kent State bench but the entire upper level was empty.

I've heard Toyota Stadium is pretty nice. What makes it crappy?
The stadium is fine. I just don't like the FCS championship game being played on a soccer field. It's Bullsh-it. Pay U-T to let us play in Austin for crying out loud. Austin, Texas. Now there's a championship site. How many people even know where Frisco, TX even is located? I'm sorry, but Frisco is a joke.
