It's actually better for the Cats if Sac takes a loss today, which would leave just 2 unbeatens in conference. But it's so hard to root for the griz...
Sac still has to play at UC Davis.

Switching to the Idaho State - PSU game.
Idaho's starting quarterback is a guy from Cody Wyoming, Hunter Hays. Hope he can engineer a comeback against the Vikes

Griz defense has been exposed, they live and die by the blitz, gave up 460 yards of offense to Sac State,

Thinking why was EB still in the game in the 4th quarter with EWU up 57-14? Then threw his 7th TD of the dayπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Then I remembered what an arrogant ass Petrino was when I played against him in HS, and a smile came to my face.😊

Well done EWU

I don't see how it would have been better for Sac to lose. If we go undefeated in conference play we win at worst a share of the conference. Whether you win the conference outright or share it the result is the same: conference champions. If we lose 1 or (unlikely) 2 games we'll still make the playoffs.

Now that UM-Missoula has a second FCS loss we could knock them out of the playoffs with a Cat-griz win. They would likely finish the regular season without a singe win against an FCS team with a winning record. I'm sure the committee would let them back into the playoffs on their name alone but maybe not.

Well I'm sure all of us were on the edge of seats for this game. San Diego beats Drake in a game that played out exactly as expected. 13-10.

Thought it was a bad spot too... Munchie doing good out there...
Yep, I'm happy for him - that he did what he thought was best for him. But man, you'd wonder if he is second guessing his decision as he could be playing for a championship caliber team right now. MSU is, SAC is not.

You sure about that? Sac looked pretty good today and only has Davis left for tough games remaining this season. It's very possible they go unbeaten in conference if they get by Davis.

It's not easy to win in Missoula. They're for real.

Sac has won something like 13 out of their last 14 conference games including wins at Bozeman and Missoula. Other than Davis, they will roll the through the rest of the conference season.

Made his name as high school coach in Sacramento area. Perfect fit for Sac State. Knows the recruiting area well.

I believe you are thinking of someone else. Taylor was the Utah Utes OC before becoming the Sac head coach. Before that, he was the OC for Eastern Washington.

He actually spent 15 years as a high school head coach in the Sacramento area before those 3 years at EWU and Utah.
