Yep, the weeds are being cleaned out for the tare... I am sure Davis is wondering what they ran into...

ISU showed the weekness of Davis. Not Davis only loss in n conference play. ISU played good.

4 of the FCS Top 10 lost today: South Dakota State, JMU, UC Davis and Delaware. Cats should end up at least number 8.

Davis had a clear shot to the Big Sky title and go and lose to Idaho State. Befuddling….

Here's a litmus test for Cat fans. Who do you want to win this weekend: dUMb or SAC? Before you answer, look at SAC's remaining schedule and ask yourself if you think they could actually go 8-0. If you think they have no chance in Missoula this weekend, then you're simply not paying attention.

If Sac beats UM-Missoula and we win Cat-griz then the griz would have at least 3 conference losses. I can't see a conference team with 3 losses making the playoffs with 3-4 teams with fewer losses ahead of them.

Sac. Davis and um both away but davis doesn't really count as away.
Eweu weber, Davis and us Davis away at night
Um sac and us at home
Davis eweu and sac at home
We have Weber, eweu and um all away
Lots of shaking up can happen.
We want sac to lose to um but I can't bring myself to root on um.

I guess I don’t mind sharing the conference championship with sac state and would love to knock the griz out of the playoffs So not a hard question for me but it might be for others.

The Griz at 5-3 in the BSC and 8-3 overall would almost certainly be in the playoffs. A lot of BSC teams have made the playoffs with 5-3 conference records. If there are 3-4 teams ahead of them and even if they're all 8-3 or better, the Griz would still be in the playoffs. The only way UM wouldn't make the playoffs in that scenario is if there are more 8-3 at-large teams from power conferences (CAA, MVFC, BSC) than there are at-large spots. I don't think an eight FCS-win team from a power conference has ever not made the playoffs.

I really don't care about that game honestly. I'm nervous about the Cats playing at Weber this Friday and just want to see them take care of business. If that doesn't happen then other league games don't matter much.
But I get your point, it seems that it would help the Cats to have Sac lose a game.

Dotson for SSU just quit football. I don't think Suck State is going anywhere without him. But I'd love to see them take down the griz in his honor this weekend!

It would just be better for the CATS when we would beat Sac in the playoffs.
