Grizzly Running Backs
I see on egriz tonight that Grizzly running back Nick Ostmo broke his leg. No details. Add that to Marcus Knight being out for the season and the Grizzlies may be scrambling a bit at the running back position. Feel bad for those kids - that’s a tough deal when you put in all that work and have such high hopes.

That's too bad. Luckily broken bones are relatively easy to come back from.
I guess we'll just have to shut down another RB instead.

Didn't UM bring in a stud RB from the MAC?

My advice would be don't make game plans that involve these guys.

Xavier Harris has had a great camp as well as the Akron transfer Isiah Childs. Excited to see Harris in that RB1 role.

I heard it was Ostmo with a broken ankle. He was their young RB who was more a power runner behind Knight. They have that Freshman who impressed in the spring and they brought in a FBS drop down who is supposed to be good. I expect Drew Turner may get more reps too.

I’m sure Adam Eastwood wouldn’t mind coming back.

Re: Grizzly Running Backs
I think they're going to have some problems at RB. I'm sure they have some studs on the roster that can the rock, but are they 100% up to speed on understanding all the nuances of the offense? Can they read the defenses? Can they pick up the blitz? Can they block? Can they catch passes? There's a lot to that position and obviously it's very important. We are very luck to have the quality depth we have. Gonna be a long day for the Griz tomorrow.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

This is why I refrain from making predictions. I’m learning the older I get, anything can happen. I’ll give them credit, that was a hell of a win.catatac wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 10:27 pmI think they're going to have some problems at RB.
