Sorry, but Katie Hnida was a kicker for the Buffs so long ago she’s almost 40 now.

CU was a long-time member of the Big 8 before it's members merged with the highest profile Texas teams out of the Southwest Conference in the mid 90's to form the Big 12. Nebraska won multiple national titles as a Big 8 member, as did Oklahoma. So it absolutely was a P5 conference throughout it's existence.

They certainly were P5, or the equivalent of P5 at the time, when she played there. While she was a member of the team at CU, she never played in a game until she transferred to non-Power 5 New Mexico.
Awesome to see Ms. Fuller get into the game for Vanderbilt yesterday! I hope it happens more often moving forward.

I never came back to this. Yeah I blew it on CU. No worries man. Curious, did you watch the lobos play in person - as in attend a game in Albuquerque - and if so, why? I lived there during the Rocky Long era, and I ****** you not, they had 7 straight bowl eligible seasons (record), 3 straight bowl games (record) and first bowl win all while I lived there. The very season after I moved out of town, they went into the tank again and fired Rocky.
