Sorry, but Katie Hnida was a kicker for the Buffs so long ago she’s almost 40 now.

UM is the university equivalent of Axe Body Spray and essential oils.

Don't think CU was P5 when she played.

CU was a long-time member of the Big 8 before it's members merged with the highest profile Texas teams out of the Southwest Conference in the mid 90's to form the Big 12. Nebraska won multiple national titles as a Big 8 member, as did Oklahoma. So it absolutely was a P5 conference throughout it's existence.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

They certainly were P5, or the equivalent of P5 at the time, when she played there. While she was a member of the team at CU, she never played in a game until she transferred to non-Power 5 New Mexico.

Awesome to see Ms. Fuller get into the game for Vanderbilt yesterday! I hope it happens more often moving forward.

I never came back to this. Yeah I blew it on CU. I was actually confused because I personally watched her play for the UNM Lobos, but only spent about 3 seconds on my dumb post.

No worries man. Curious, did you watch the lobos play in person - as in attend a game in Albuquerque - and if so, why? UNM isn't exactly a football hotbed (though Albuquerque is on my bucket list of places to visit)...

I'm guessing because Bugs Bunny always should've taken a left when he got there :D

I lived there during the Rocky Long era, and I ****** you not, they had 7 straight bowl eligible seasons (record), 3 straight bowl games (record) and first bowl win all while I lived there. The very season after I moved out of town, they went into the tank again and fired Rocky. I still very proudly take full credit for their success and troll my friends down there to this day.

As a matter of fact, I moved back to Montana precisely the same time DeNarius showed up in Bozeman. Yeah.
