North Carolina A&T and FAMU are leaving the MEAC after next season. Ouch! A once prominent FCS conference is in real trouble.

Official: Bethune Cookman will be officially a member of the SWAC in 2021-21 so peace out MEAC. The SWAC will have 12 official schools

MEAC will be down to 7 schools in which 5 play football (UMES & Coppin don't have football)

Bowling will have 10 Members (A&T, UAB & Monmouth as Associate Members)

MEAC will lose their Automatic Qualifer for Baseball because you got to have 6 playing schools (Morgan State & SC State don't have baseball)

Celebration Bowl known as the A&T Bowl contract runs out in 2020. The contact WON'T be renewed because the MEAC isn't stable. Truth is A&T OWNS & RUNS ATLANTA

Dating back to 2010 the MEAC has lost 6 schools (WSSU, Savannah State, Hampton, A&T, FAMU & BCU)

It was a great run in the MEAC but our new home called the Big South is calling us now. We fry fish & have bottles of hot sauce at our homecoming but feel free to reference it as GHOE
