Petersen announced that he is stepping down from the Huskies after the bowl game. Pretty shocking news

Not surprising. He was tired and worn out when he left Boise a few years ago. I don't mean that to be disparaging, it's a grind. You could see it on his face during his last season at Boise State, and I actually had that thought that he looked the same when I was watching some of the Apple Cup this weekend. Wish him nothing but happiness, he is a true class act and he deserves everything he has earned.

That's funny--I thought the exact same thing watching that game.
