I would not hire the guy. His record in CO was very mediocre. He inherited a good squad at montana. The program needs a rebuilder.BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 3:45 pmMight Stitt be a candidate at UNC? He wasn't terrible at Montana and he's got a lot ties to Colorado.
Collins was a high character guy, but couldn't turn it around at UNC, they gave him 9 years. Maybe Stitt could oversee the transition back to DII where he belongs.allcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:13 pmI would not hire the guy. His record in CO was very mediocre. Could not agree more. Have never been to Cheney but just seeing where it is located and having been to SLO, there is ZERO comparison. SLO is a beautiful spot and Cheney is uhhhhhhhhhhhh.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 10:22 amIn only regards to his Big Sky coaching gigs, he has to be on cloud nine. To get to go from Cheney Washington, which might be the worst place to live in the country; to SLO, California has to be akin to escaping hell for heaven. Good for him.
Cal Poly already has athletes. The Cats had their problems in the 4th qtr with them this year. I think they will be a top 4 Big Sky team within 2 yrs.RickRund wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 10:40 amCould not agree more.
