Greg Bohl-Wyoming

Former NDSU HC Greg Bohl seems to have Wyoming pointed in the right direction with a 37-31 win over Missouri.
Some interesting stats here...Wyoming went 6-16 and 92 yards through the air. They rushed for 297= 37
Missouri went 31-48 for 423 through the air and rushed for 114 = 31
I'm sure everyone in Laramie is happy as a clam.

Yeah, I saw that. The few occasions Wyoming has been able to land a decent coach, he'll take off before really turning around the program. Bohl seems like he might stick around for awhile before leaving for greener grass or retiring.

Having said that, Missouri's not a real SEC school, at least not like Georgia, Bama, Auburn. When they were a Big 12 school, they rarely climbed above the bottom half of the conference standings. They were fortunate enough to have a couple really good QB's at the same time as that major conference realignment period six or seven years ago.

Depends on who you look at, but most polls had them in or around the top 30.
Former Bobcats Dennis Erickson and Joe Tiller each had coaching stops there. Erickson rolled through the bed there after leaving Idaho on his way to Washington State going 6-6.
Joe Tillers work got him the head job at Purdue. He stayed 6 seasons starting at 4-6-1 and finishing 10-2

Hate to be that guy, but his name is Craig Bohl. Not Greg.

He has one overall coaching objective, and that is to be the head coach of Nebraska. He is well on his way to obtaining that goal. Might take another 3-7 years, but he will succeed.

I dunno. I think Scott Frost will have them up and running by next year. We'll see

Wyoming has now won 6 games in a row for the first time since 1999 with a couple of very winnable games coming up.

How do we never play them? Seems like they'd be a perfect to play every 2-3 years.

I think they look down at us the same way the griz look down at everyone.
