I was reading an article on the number of FBS 5 star quarterback recruits who have decided to transfer to other FBS programs because of lack of playing time. One was Jake Eason who left Georgia for Washington after getting beaten out by Jake Fromm. The writer said Eason got Wally Pipp'd" by Fromm which I found amusing and will undoubtedly be picked up by other sports writers. For you younger folks (born after 1950 
) who may not remember, Wally Pipp was a star New York Yankee first baseman who got injured. Young Lou Gehrig went in as his temporary replacement and didn't leave the field for 2,632 games!
