UM started with a 9-yard gain on first down, then incomplete passes on 2nd and 3rd to punt. Ouch. EWU driving near midfield. Nobody wearing gray jerseys (hooray).

Gubrud missed a wide open WR behind the defense.
Then missed another on 3rd down! He's definitely off.
I guess that means the real score is 7-0 EWU, right catastrophe??

EWU gets FG. 3 - 0. Not sure what that is in "real" score.

um looking better than I expected or maybe Eastern worse. um completes a couple long passes.

Jensen throws a really nice deep ball. Maybe more accurate than his short and intermediate throws.

Impressed with him, although as you say he has had some inaccurate throws as well. UM's receivers are doing a good job blocking downfield. EWU's defense not tackling well in the open field which could bode well for Murray in a couple weeks. Gubrud looks out of rhythm and has missed a few opportunities for TDs or long gains.

Comedy of errors to end the half for EWU, committing a 15-yard personal foul as UM was trying to run out the clock before halftime, then playing some of the worst defense you'll ever see as UM gets a hail mary TD on the last play of the half. EWU playing with very little discipline in this one and it's costing them.

But those don't count in the real score. The real score is 17-13 griz.

That #4 for Eastern is a real punk. He's already been called for two personal fouls and he easily could have been called for another, and he's always pointing and yapping and just generally being a total douche. Eastern isn't playing all that great, but they should still be wining this game, but they just can't finish their drives and they're making a lot mistakes.

Edit: Just as I was posting this, UM hit the Hail Mary pass to go up 24-6.

They weren't very lucky on the missed fumble and what should have been incomplete pass on the Eags last scoring drive.
