FCS Playoffs Sat 11/26

Post by ElbowCat » Sat Nov 26, 2016 1:32 pm

Weber game is on ESPN 3. Weber is struggling early down 14-0 near the end of the first qtr. It's looking way too easy for Chattanooga's offense right now. If Weber doesn't step up its gonna be an ugly score.

Wildcats turn it over 5 times, one for a pick 6 and another for a 99 yard fumble return. Final score 45-14. Tough start for the Big Sky. Congrats to the Wildcats on a solid season.

Tough road trip for Weber, but to get blown out like that looks terrible for the Big Sky.

Cal Poly should beat SD tonight, but will likely be out next week.

Interesting that Illinois State is beating UCA by 10 in the 4th quarter. Weren't they the one 6-5 team that got in?

UCA came back to win, 31-24. Their D line looked really good.

Did every home team win today? I know Cal Poly is still pending.

Chattanooga played pretty solid against Alabama, so I wouldn't read too much into a blowout. Webes was pretty over matched in this contest.

Non-scholarship San Diego is up 14-0 on Cal Poly early in the 2nd.
Wow.

Wow is right. Poly wasn't playing well late. Last five games were lackluster.

35-21 with just two minutes left, and Cal Poly fumbles.
San Diego will beat a scholarship Big Sky team in the playoffs.
Yikes.

Great BSC gets four in the playoffs and the first two fall on their face. No wonder we don't get any respect nationally. MVC we are not. I hope EWU and UND have better results next weekend.

Illinois state lost to UCA. Yes they were the only 6-5 team in based on beating an FBS team earlier in the year as well as beating a seeded SDSU team.

Hampton was not part of the playoff field, nor was the Coastal Carolina team they were playing yesterday as CC is in a transition to FBS and not eligible.
