I did not know this about Coach Souers- Boy everything is going wrong for them this year:

In the final minutes of NAU's loss at Sac State Saturday, a Hornet collided with Souers when he ran off the field and onto the sideline. Souers tried to slow down the player, helping him to not land awkwardly, but in the process he got hit in the head, received a black eye, a big cut over his left eye, a concussion and needed 10 stitches.

It was reported in Sunday's edition that Souers was hit in the head when he tried to break up a fight.
