Griz Attendance?
How far will the Griz attendance drop for their next home game, since they are out of the playoffs?

I'd say say they still get closeto 20k, but that's just a guess.

They still have Monte and a virtual sandwich eating contest, they will still draw over 20k.

I would be willing to bet they are still around 24,000.

I am sure the announced attendance will be close to that, since they have mostly season ticket holders, and the attendance is the number of tickets sold. I wouldn't be surprised to see some empty seats thoughrollo_tumasi wrote:I would be willing to bet they are still around 24,000.

Well the guy on egriz who wanted to give away his seats for free apparently succeeded, so they shouldn't lose any attendance there. You will see plenty of Griz fans dressed as empty seats for Halloween this weekend, I guarantee that.

Hmmm. Two home losses in a row, 3 and 5, no chance of playoffs, almost last place in the conference, it's Idaho State, hunting season, cold weather, and the Cats have a huge home game. I'd be surprised if they get over 20 but we'll see.rollo_tumasi wrote:I would be willing to bet they are still around 24,000.

Griz Attendance?
As irrelevant as they are this year, why are WE still talking about them? Their problems are their problems so let's leave them to their own. We have bigger fish to fry. Griz suck, they know it. FTG

The Bobcats' "huge home game" is one thing that won't affect attendance whatsoever.

Re: Griz Attendance?
I take it the people here that think UM's attendance will fall due to their losing are the same Cat fans that quit showing up to our games when we are down? Thanks for letting us know who you are.

Not sure if that was directed towards me... but I'm just saying that their attendance will dip due to several reasons... losing being only one of them. That opinion has absolutely no bearing on what I do as a fan? I'm a season ticket holder since 95. My normal season consists of hitting either 4 or 5 (rarely 6) home games and usually two away games per yer. Yes, even in 2001.
Are you saying that bandwagon Griz fans don't exist?

I was talking about the bandwagon Griz fans! There have always been a lot of them, so I thought a lot of those fans won't be making the trip to Missoula.catatac wrote:[cat_bracket] wrote:I take it the people here that think UM's attendance will fall due to their losing are the same Cat fans that quit showing up to our games when we are down?
