Your brackets are all so predictable. Mine has some chest hair. ;)

I have Montana Reaching the Final 4. They are playing SE Louisiana. Is that predictable?

Hmm, picking the #1 team in the nation to win it all. Way to go out on a limb there.

At least you aren't following the UNC bandwagon like it seems everyone else is. How exactly are they so perfect in everyone's eyes after losing to GT in the semi's of the ACC?

Well of course I picked Illinois, I think they are the best team right now. But I picked several upsets, and I picked UConn to play Illinois. I'll probably end up with the lowest score, but it would be worth it. ;)

what's with the albuquerque bracket? does anyone else think that the #1 and #2 seeds both have a less than 50% shot at reaching the final four. i think this bracket is ripe to see Pitt(9), TT(6) or Gonzaga(3) to come out.

Yep, totally agree. Add Louisville to that potential list.

As well as Louisville/Georgia Tech. This does seem like a bracket where basically anyone could advance (well, except Montana).

I see bearBAC picked the Griz to reach the Elite 8...nice picks there.

Of the 26 currently submitted brackets, the champion picks are as follows:

UNC: 10
Illinois: 8
Duke: 2
Conn: 2
Wake: 2
Ok St: 1
Kentucky: 1

Not much of a surprise here, but what does surprise me is that in a group of people, most of whom either grew up in and/or still live in the western US, only 1 out of 26 has picked #1 seed Washington to go to the Final 4!

I think a lot of people (including myself) feel that Washington is a little over rated. I was a little surprised that they received a #1 seed. I think Washington’s #1 seed came more from other teams’ failures then Washington’s successes. There are a lot of good teams out there, but I think that most people feel Washington isn't one of the top four.

Were they to make a deep run this year, what impact will their success have on another thread given we went to Seattle two years ago and beat them pretty badly? Or...what impact will that have on Fields when he sits down with Mick for the annual review?

I like both Wake and GT over Washington in that region too, I was just surprised that only 1 out of 26 did pick Washington, and most people don't even have them getting past the Round of 16.

I think looking at the bracket UW has it is tough to pick them.....you have GT and Wake from the ACC which hands down is the toughest conference way ahead of the PAC-10.....Georgia Tech will be tough......I think Wake can really step it up and I think Chris Paul is gonna be on a vengence to restore his image from before the bow to the balls.
