If, as a 50 year old coach, you can't control and discipline your players in non-forceful ways, then you shouldn't be coaching.
So much wrong.......I dont even know where to start.

Forgive my ignorance but are all practices video taped? If so then Kramer set himself up by letting his emotions (right or wrong) get the best of him. NO teacher or coach can lay a hand on students, corporal punishment is no longer allowed on school campuses, therefore any physical contact can be considered assault. The fact that there is a video, well that nails Kramer regardless of if the kid was a punk, out of line, whatever. Coaches HAVE to take the high road. Now if it needed to be done, take the kid to the locker room or whatever and knock him down a notch, but not where there is a camera recording it. I agree with alot of the points made defending Kramer's actions but bottom line, you can't touch a student. It is the world we live in folks and it's just gonna get worse.

Taping practice is pretty much the norm in college football.

I just watched the video, this kid is a total punk. Kramer did shove him, his head did not hit the carpet. His parents are pussy enablers, if I was his dad I would tell him to get tough, his attitude is part of the team problem at ISU.

No kidding if I was his parent I would demand he apologize to Kramer, drop the legal BS and get a job in the feminine hygiene section at Wal Mart until he quits acting like something those products are designed for.

Neck spasms?

Just think of the injuries that would've resulted if they hadn't installed new turf. Graves might've ended up in a full body cast had this happened a couple years ago. He should thank his lucky stars.
Retiring my moniker. It's time to ride off into the sunset. It's been a fun ride. Go Cats.

Like that would ever happen. His o-line would've chop blocked Kramer way before he reached him.
Dakota Prukop -MSU Quarterback
Dude on my plane is wearin a Montana Grizzlie shirt. I'm pretty sure he's the reason our whole plane smells like B.O.
Kurt Davis-MSU Receiver
I needed a change for one, but for two, I HAD to go to Coach Haucks rival school.

I'd say his parents are the driving force behind this. He waited two weeks after it happened to report it and he has an attorney out of Mississippi?

Wow. You can find idiots on every board. On the UC Davis thread a guy claims the Cats are on their way down because Ash can't recruit.

The guy might be right, If you drop Minter, schreibies, Owens, Na'a, Grosulak, Andrews, and Bethley, then who do we have for defense. On offense the only guys that stand out are McGhee, Kirk, Robinson (maybe not considered a recruit), Samson, Foster,Bleskin, Gilbert, Sewing and Ellis. Get rid of those recruits and what is left?

I slept in the Fred Meyer parking lot one night before the Griz lost to ISU in OT. I didnt drink the water but I did drink enough Jager to get kicked out of the City and Odyssey Bars......then have a very onesided conversation with the police.
Does that count?

You have to quit explaining to local cops how their team is inferior to yours.

If the player had pushed coach Kramer what would have happened? Would it be ok for a player to do that?? I just wonder what some of you think.
