I think our defense will match up well with SB.

I am not sure 52 for Nova could keep up with our favorite little big sky conf official.

I'm gonna make my son leave it home. He needs to concentrate on finals anyway :)

SB Running Back is legit...he'll get his yards but if we can stay low we should be okay. Keys are long, sustained drives on offense, NO turnovers, and to tackle well, very well....also think SB will be influenced by our crowd and weather - if they think where they are playing is cold..Welcome to BOZEMAN!!!

Game is over is Nova can't keep them out of EZ here. 17-3 after SB FG, then SB recovers onside kick. Down on 11, second and 9.

I am guessing the elevation will be more of an effect on these running backs then the weather will.

Looks like Stony Brook. The cats better get ready for pound it style football coming our way. At least it isn't misdirection so if we play sound gap football and tackle well we should be able to get some good stops on them! We need to get a lead on them and never look back!

51 carries for 248 yards (4.9 per) is good, especially considering SB wasn't a threat to throw. Then again it isn't off the charts good as Nova just lost them a couple times.

FCS playoffs first round scores

Appears (statistically) that Stony Brook doesn't care about balance, they intend to run and leave the defense to stop them.

I think getting a solid game from Minter and the rest of the front seven will be crucial, but making them play catch-up would be great.

Let's get out to a Furman-esque first quarter and never look back.

Of course, that's all assuming Nova doesn't mount a comeback.

Nova gets the ball back, but on its own 20 with just 4:00 to go.

Depends a little bit on if Essington is back next week. They'll still run a lot, but not as much as today.

Terrible clock mgmt at the end of the game by Villanova. Convert a first down and let 25 seconds run off the clock. Get up and spike it. Basic two minute football.

Its 50 degrees in Bozeman right now and the 10 day forecast says 44 degrees next Saturday...............................I dont think weather will be a factor.
