Re: Hauck to Illinois (DC)
Was gonna watch basketball tonight, but I think I’m gonna get some popcorn and read egriz all night. They got played big time, although it’s similar to what Choate did. Choate came out and said he wasn’t leaving MSU and then a couple weeks later jumped ship to Texas. These coaches play the system as well. Honestly, college sports is pro now and nobody can be trusted.
If your left, you aren’t right.

Coach 7-8 will do wonders there. He's a winner.

Will he "Jimmy Rogers" them? Just saw they got two back on waivers, one was a LB, not sure about the other.

egris sure has some cult members who never think Hauck has done anything wrong. They’ll probably think him for taking some players with him when they transfer

He's a hell of a salesman. No doubt about that.BOBCATBORN wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 5:19 pmI guess I just can’t understand a different team seeing his 3-3-5 defense and being real excited.

Egriz is in full denial. It's making them feel better by saying that the job only came open this week. Lol!!! I'm sure the Illinois coach knew his coach was interviewing and negotiating so he started his own interviewing and negotiating . This all didn't happen in the last week.

Re: Hauck to Illinois (DC)
Aaron Henry left on Feb. 1. Hauck retired on Feb. 4. Hauck hired Feb. 9. Yeah, it smells of Hauck already having the DC job.hokeyfine wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 6:58 pmEgriz is in full denial. If he not only burns their 2026 season by leaving in February, but also takes a different job and ends up taking good players with him, I will never stop laughing. They all have to bite their tongues because he's a living legend, but he screwed them on his way out the door. Feels personal.

It does feel personal, it's very personal I think. I bet Haslam is fit to be tied!MrGoodKat wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 8:33 pmIf he not only burns their 2026 season by leaving in February, but also takes a different job and ends up taking good players with him, I will never stop laughing. But seriously, how many "good" players are there that could play at the next level over there? Maybe the one that just got a waiver to play his 9th year is football!!!
