I can see Davis staying to be the guy with Ah Yat because it gives him a better offer for next year. If I were Gillman, I would leave but he's got his brother on the team and that might matter to him. Ramos is a JAG. Wing would be a huge loss for them, he's their only good LB.

They're going to have to hit the portal hard, again, and hope that they hit on almost everybody, again. The biggest challenge is going to be hitting in the portal on the positions that everybody wants, OL & DL. Wouldn't be surprised if they lose 4-5 games next year with their schedule.

Ramos is good at two things:

-Celebrating over players that someone else knocked out.

-Getting blown off the ball.

He’s one starter that I really hope they keep.

There is no way they would do it and the fanbase wouldn't go for it but they really need to just suck for one year. Instead of bringing in 1 year drop down players they should use the scholarships on JUCO or portal players with 3 years to develop. Recruits that have attributes but aren't finished products. Focus on 2027 and use 2026 to start building from the high school ranks and fix the strength a conditioning program to build some players in the trenches. BUT.... they will bring in a bunch of players with only 1 or 2 seasons of eligibility who will look good against Portland State. Bobby needs to win now and they just continue to get further and further behind trying quick fixes.

They didn’t recognize them this year…

Bobby has no choice but to hit the portal hard again. They’re losing a lot between graduation and the portal.

He either goes light on the portal, focuses on the younger guys with an eye toward the future and takes some lumps along the way, or he hits the portal hard again, brings in more 1-2 year guys, hope they gel and can play like this last years batch did (more or less) and see them graduate/leave the following year and repeat the process again the following year.

It’s not an enviable position. As someone who hates the grizLLies, it makes me smile when it happens to them.

It’s also a bummer that this is what everyone has to deal with anymore. The Cats have weathered the NIL storm well, but it still sucks to see across the board.

The Griz still have a lot of young OL prospects on their team with size. No idea if any of them are good, but that's one spot where they have bodies.

What will be interesting is if any of them go with Norcross to Nevada. I'm guessing that's where Amick lands.
