I’m not at all saying the Griz haven’t won ugly. They certainly have. I don’t pretend to be able to communicate with anyone who is intoxicated on data analytics and random computer algorithms (i.e., “Sagarin” and “Massey” converts). But I do see why the FCS coaches and FCS writers rank the Griz ahead of the Cats. Only in the world of computer games can you formulate a belief that the Cats are somehow prevailing through some remarkably brutal schedule and thereby proving themselves superior to the Griz. Cat-Griz game will settle it.

I am sure this is what you are referring to. The “people in the know” seem to have a real good handle on it!
FCS Playoff Committee Top 10

2. SDSU
3. Tarleton State
4. Montana State

10. Tennessee Tech
PlayerRep looked pretty foolish in this thread.
One out of three ain’t bad (Cats ahead of Griz in one out of three). Hang in there, Cats. Win this week.

Hopefully they do but I heard Bye got a lot of mid season transfers and is pretty tough.

Ok grizzly fans, repeat after me. This is a really, really good Sacret Heart team we are beating right now.

I turned it off after the punt return for SHU. Very poor special teams.
I thought the first pass from SHU should have been a PI.

What a joke. Hauck goes for two after their third TD in the first quarter. What a nice guy. Done watching.

So Gillman has 31 yds/12carries.
When they played Id St he had 41 yards. When I bring that up to the gris faithful they say that the Bengals game plan was STOP Gillman. That is why his production was low.
SHU just scored, 29-14…

Ya, they're just not what I would call a GREAT team currently. Yes they have some stud playmakers on both sides of the ball, but inconsistent. After the way they closed out their last couple games I thought it was a lock to go undefeated until the brawl. As I'm watching them not exactly blow away Sacred Heart, I'm thinking they might bet beat by Sac next Friday night. We'll see how Sac looks today.

Haha Hauck is such an arrogant coach. He could've kicked a FG and gone up by 3 scores there. Instead he goes for it on 4th and 1 and doesn't get it. Keeps SH in the game a bit longer.

What's really funny about that is earlier he tried to kick a pretty damn long GF when it was like 4th and 3 or something and the Griz were moving the ball well. It's opposite day. lol.

SHU has shown, at least on gamecast, that they can run on the gris d. And they have been able to pass on them…

Following on gamecast… what was the illegal snap penalty?
And SHU scores again.. 29-21 gris.

The SH center wiggled his hip or something before he snapped it.

This is turning out to be a really fun game to watch! I had a feeling I should have crushed a bunch of cash on the 30 point under.

Vigen would have run out the clock, but Booby has to throw the ball and run up the score.

Because he knows the coaches and media only look at the score.

Pretty much like every grizzly game this year, very late in the game and still very, very close. This is a team they should have blown out. I'm feeling better about the brawl after every game I watch.

1 of the 2 "ranked wins" for the griz, Idaho, is currently getting beat by ewu.
Edit. Idaho coming back now, within 7 points.
But the point still stands.

Idaho lost their starting stud QB (reminds me of Cliff McDowell) a couple games ago and are a shell of themselves. I wasnt very impressed with them outside of that QB. I think he kept them in some games and won some games for them. They’re gonna be real bad now.
