Okla St vs Ore

Post by RickRund » Sat Sep 06, 2025 4:05 pm

It is very ugly midway through the 3rd. Ore leading 48-3. Outgoing the Cowboys 536-132, 21-5 1st downs. Okla St QB having big issues throwing against the Ducks, 6/15, 61 yds.

Hey, I know a guy in Blue and Gold who threw the ball much better than that against Oregon. He even did it using the middle of the field.

The Bobcats looked better in all ways against the Ducks. Oklahoma State has repeatedly given up big plays from scrimmage. Oregon scored 59 and 65-yard TDs in their first three plays! Cowboys only stopped the Ducks once on 4th down. Otherwise it’s been a TD every possession.

There was some jawing between the head coaches about money spent on football. Oregon coach was highly unapologetic about having $40 million or whatever to spend on players. This might be payback.

It’s also the absolute end of collegiate football as it was known. The split is so wide I think it’s time for the rich schools to just start their own professional league — and the rest should all use liberalized FCS rules. Colleges that want to play college football should be able to.

I’d even watch it, while another pro league went down the drain.

Cannot figure out the scores on espn.. They did have 75-3 and then boom it changes to 68-3..

Our halftime score according to espn was 20-17 CATS. Their game cast can be “blippy”.
