Mess in Idaho

Crazy brawl with football team involved. What in the world is going on in Moscow?

https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2024/ ... face-crim/

https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/local ... bfe4bae225

This specifically caught my eye in the second article:

“Feb. 10 incident on the UI campus in Moscow involving reportedly “40-45 football players, some wearing ski masks and carrying broken PVC pipes,” was the “direct cause” of the decision to cancel the event.”

With a “giving” event cancelled two months out, this thing has some wheels. With football still being suspect at UI since their drop-up (to me) to FCS — this could hurt. It will be interesting to see how many brooms rally to sweep this under the carpet, but it’s not quite as easy in these days of instant video. Stuff like this is what really keeps head coaches up at night — thankfully it wasn’t us.

Sounds like this was the "direct cause" of the decision to cancel:
The victim’s father was the biggest sponsor during the three years of the event, according to Chipman’s email.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Never beat up the rich kid. Gotta know better than that, even if he's asking for it.
