So this person has all sorts of inside info on all the super quiet, tight lipped schools and is posting this secret info on public message boards. Seems legit.
So if an FCS school is building FBS facilities, doesn’t it follow that their leaders want FBS?

This isn’t brain science, except for FCS fans.

The kitty fans just conveniently ignore the Bozeman article yesterday that said the BSC needs to split because it’s too bloated.
At what point to fcs facility upgrades become fbs facilities? I’ve seen lots of fcs schools upgrade their facilities and it’s not for the sole purpose of moving up.

Such a funny topic
Compare the Montanas to Southern Utah or Idaho State.

Montana State facilities almost knock one out for HS grads.

FCS schools making improvement for FCS are far less grandiose.

To get FBS recruits, the facilities have to be fabulous. FCS, merely passable.

Also, the academic support facilities at FBS are very good compared to FCS.
Your reasoning makes zero sense. There are FCS schools all across the country making facility upgrades. The reason is to stay competitive in recruiting at our level, not move up to FBS. When Montana, Weber and Davis all made facility upgrades, MSU has to make similar advances or we would have been at a disadvantage in recruiting.

Delaware, James Madison, Jacksonville St, Stony Brook, Kennesaw St, Albany, NC A&T, E Kentucky, Sam Houston St, Lamar, McNeese St and other are all moving up by 2025 IMHO to get part of the CFP revenue and more national exposure.

Idaho St, SUU, Portland St, No Colo, NAU and Dixie St are all examples of the coming lower standard FCS facilities just be subtracting the higher end FCS schools.

This board is in complete denial about the recent Bozeman articles about a coming Big Sky split and the major difference in facility improvements among its schools. Costello wanted the writer to write about those issues because he knows what is coming.

NDSU is building a state of the art football indoor practice center so it can better recruit against MAC schools and pickup more BIG walk on recruits.

Another addition to the Land of Misfit Toys Conference. Football will be an FCS independent. They'll probably have to play Dixie State three times a year to get enough games.

Boy, WAC sure nailed them with a penality for joining. 4 years until most of their sports can get an automatic qualifier bid for winning the conference.

Wow! Tarleton state embarrassed NMSU.
Maybe the WAC found their 6th FCS team for the fall.

I think that has more to do with how bad NMSU is than how good Dixie State is...

This 'new' conference might get chopped at the knees before it even really got going. Rumors swirling after C-USA had a mass exodus that they are reaching out to Sam Houston and McNeese St.

Won't they be starting from scratch for football?

The WAC is really becoming a bunch of random teams. Southern Utah leaving the Big Sky for this mess seems like a bad decision, but good riddance.

We lose Sam Houston State, Jacksonville State, and James Madison.
We gain Texas A&M Commerce, Texas-Rio Grande Valley, and Dixie State...the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away...

I actually think UTRGV (quite the acronym) has a pretty huge upside. That's pretty populated market without a lot of college football competition real close by.
