FSU's up on JoePa and company right now so I could miss the mark on that guess. We'll see how the 2nd half plays out.
I still stand by my USC over Texass prediction. USC's offense is amazing on TV but you should see them in person. I've had the opportunity to see them play several times over the past 2 years and it's quite a sight. They have way too many weapons. Their defense isn't as solid this year as it was last year, so Texass will find paydirt on more than one occasion tomorrow. I think USC's D will be strong enough to keep Texas at bay a few times. It could very well be a high scoring game.
You spoke a bit too soon, JoePa utilizing time outs perfectly as they go into half time with a lead.
It is amazing watching USC play in person as opposed to TV. I was able to go down to Provo and see them play BYU last season(not a great game, but definately worth seeing Reggie Bush). No matter the angle that people seem to have on Bush, he simply outruns them and if for some reason they do actually have the angle, one move and he's still gone! I'm hopeful he will stick around for another year....maybe for the Raiders to have one more diaster of a season and be able to pick him up!
I've said it before, but agree Bush would make an excellent 'Raider'. If he goes this year though, the 'Raiders' are out.

Not to hijack my own thread, but ESPN.com listed NewWeasal as a possible replacement for Norv Turner...

Texas 41, USC 38 Final. Vince Young is one heck of a quarterback. It was a great game and all of the BCS games were close, but this one was a great way to finish. As for my picks, I only hit 2 out of 4, 2 out of 5 if you count my bonus pick.
GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!

My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.

What a game. Rivaled the Miami - OSU overtime game as far as entertainment value goes. Vince Young is one helluva QB. I hope he comes back next year and leads them to back-to-back Nat'l Championships.

I didn't post any picks, but I went 3-4 in the BCS games, as far as the teams I wanted to win. ND was my only loss, but that was my least sentimental pick. I picked WVU because of their running attack, Penn State because of what I had seen of the team earlier in the season and my extreme dislike of Booby Bow-wow, and Texas because there needed to be a new champion of DI-A College Football and for all the Mack Brown haters.

For the record, SC didn't do a lot of punting....
Too bad Texas did a good job of getting turnovers and stops on fourth down.

Thank you to all who picked Texas with me (maybe one or two). I am glad everyone else picked USC and no one listened to me when I picked Texas. Thank you all again. Hook 'em Horns!

I picked texas and was happy about the win, but what the he!! was Carrol thinking. Going for it on fourth down but don't put your best player in the game. Young was impressive but that play was the game.
The devil made me do it the first time... the second time I done it on my own.
