Yeah the Pokes are good this year no doubt. The Griz play them next year (I think they only lose 1-2 off their offense this year). I guess we will put the Griz to the test as their fans always think they can smoke Wyoming every year (although I think they have never beaten them).TomCat88 wrote:Colorado St. 38, Cal Poly 21; McElwain's second year makes Rams good enough to not drop another one to a FCS team.

Re: Other BSC game predictions: Week 3
Wyoming is a typical Christensen team. Sure they'll score 40+ and put up 500+ yards of offense, but they'll also give up 50+ and 600+ on defense. Explosive offense but not a good team.CARDIAC_CATS wrote:Yeah the Pokes are good this year no doubt. The Griz play them next year (I think they only lose 1-2 off their offense this year). And I see UM beating them next year. By a decent margin.msuhunter wrote:Wyoming is a typical Christensen team. Re: Other BSC game predictions: Week 3
Interesting to look at the UC Davis schedule. They host NAU this week as a non-conference game and PSU next week also as a non-conference game. So their entire 6-game home schedule is against Big Sky opposition. That's pretty cool! I sure would rather see MSU play a Big Sky team than a D-II...home and home with EWU or UNC would be nice, as neither is on the conference schedule for 2014 or 2015.

Re: Other BSC game predictions: Week 3
I've heard that Eastern Washington and MSU are planning on keeping the series going in the years they don't play. My guess is they'd play at MSU in 2014 and at EWU in 2015. It has been discussed, but I don't have a source to back that up. It would be a good idea though as it has become so difficult to schedule 6 home games.MSU01 wrote:Interesting to look at the UC Davis schedule. Re: Other BSC game predictions: Week 3
Did anybody predict that the Sacramento State - Southern Oregon game would turn into a shootout?
Holy cow a 63-56 Sacramento State win in OT! Southern Oregon hung more points on them than Arizona State did!
I guess I can't wait for the Sacramento State v. Idaho State game...

Also, two of their home games occur before school even starts here. The freshmen move into the dorms next weekend and school starts a week from thursday. I hate the quarter system!MSU01 wrote:Interesting to look at the UC Davis schedule. They host NAU this week as a non-conference game and PSU next week also as a non-conference game. Previous years I would say that but their D is a lot better this year. Much better tackling so farmsuhunter wrote:Wyoming is a typical Christensen team. Re: Other BSC game predictions: Week 3
Looks like Toledo may have figured out Vernon Adams. EWU scored on first two drives, had just 210 yards and one TD after that.
