Thigh injury will apparently keep Essington off the field this weekend. He's thrown 22 TDs on just 186 passes and has the No.1 passer rating in the FCS at 175.8. McGhee has the same number of TDs, but has thrown 380 passes. SB's ground game obviously does a good job of setting up the pass. Miguel Maysonet leads the nation in rushing at 156.5 per game and a 7.7 per carry average.

30 mph winds out of the west/nw all day today at Stony Brook. The stadium sets at mostly a N-S, but tilts a little to the east, so when it comes out of the NW it will be blowing straight across the field. Should be interesting to see how that effects this game. Both teams were already keying on the run, but even more so now.

Stony Brook - Nova

Stony Brook up early. Villanova can't move the ball. Stony Brooks, run blocking looks tough. They close the edge and the WR's have been laying some nice out blocks.

Not having their starting QB hasn't meant much so far.
